12. If yo u r flame sensor is a scanner, clean the lens w ith a clean damp soft
rag. A flame rod's metal rod sho u ld b e clean and free of dirt and car b on.
Like the spark rod igniter, the porcelain on the flame rod m u st b e intact
as w ell. Replace it if it's cracked. Reinstall the spark rod to the proper
setting See Page 110, Figure . Reinstall the flame sensor; if it is a flame
rod ens u re the correct positioning see Page 111, Figure 93 .
13. Reinstall the pilot assem b ly and connect appropriate ca b les and con-
d u ctors and pilot gas line.

Dampers
Check linkage w hen applica b le and tighten set scre w s as req u ired. All mo v ing
parts of dampers sho u ld b e cleaned and then thoro u ghly l ub ricated w ith light
moly b den u m oil in aerosol can.
Dampers f u rnished w ith stainless steel side seals sho u ld also ha v e the seals
l ub ricated genero u sly. Dampers sho u ld then b e man u ally operated se v eral
times u ntil linkages and b lades operate freely.
Reconnect linkages and check dampers for proper operation.

Filters Filters sho u ld b e checked for dirt restriction on a monthly b asis (or as
req u ired).
Replace filters w ith filters of eq u al specification w hen they appear dirty.
