1. Description:
• NEMA1 hinged control panel.
• S u mmer-Off-Winter s w itch.
• Three system indicating lights; Blo w er, B u rner
and Flame Fail u re.
• Spray g u n interlock.
• Dry P u rge Timer and Cool-Do w n timer.
• Mechanical Dry timer (0-60 min u tes).
• Maxitrol "M" Series temperat u re set point w ith
digital temperat u re indicator.
• Booth Lighting On/Off S w itch, f u sing and
contactor (s u pply po w er for lights b y others).
• Man u al b alancing pot for adj u sting exha u st fan
speed in the paint mode.
• Booth press u re ga u ge (D w yer 4" Magnehelic
®
),
monitors b ooth press u re.
2.Operation - Paint Mode:
• S w itch in "S u mmer" position for fan only or
"Winter" position for fan and bu rner.
• Process Heater v entilation air damper opens to
100% open position.
• Exha u st fan starts and after a timed delay, the
s u pply fan comes on.
• In the w inter position, temperat u re b ased on
paint temperat u re set point.
• Booth lights operated b y on/off s w itch.
• Booth b alancing pot pro v ides fine t u ne
adj u stment of exha u st fan speed to maintain
b ooth press u re.
3.Operation - Dry Mode:
• Acti v ate s w itch to either "S u mmer" or "Winter"
position.
• T u rn Dry Cycle Start Timer to desired time
(acti v ates the Dry cycle).
• Spray g u n solenoid and b ooth lights are sh u t
off.
• P u rge timer is acti v ated, p u rging b ooth w ith
100% v entilation air (operating as if in paint
mode).
• After p u rge cycle, Process Heater's dampers
re-position to 10% v entilation air & 90 % ret u rn
air for Dry cycle. Exha u st fan speed red u ces
do w n to 10% airflo w .
• Temperat u re b ased on Dry temperat u re set
point.
• When Dry cycle is completed, cool-do w n cycle
is acti v ated. Booth lights remain off.
• D u ring cool-do w n cycle, the Process Heater
and exha u st fan re v ert to 100% v entilation air
(operating as if in paint mode).
• Process Heater and exha u st fan sh u t do w n
after cool-do w n cycle.
