25.5 Supply Blower
25.6 Manifold and Controls
The s u pply air is handled b y DWDI (do ub le w idth, do ub le inlet) b lo w er
w heel(s) mo u nted on either a solid or t ubu lar shaft. The b lo w er w heel(s) are
attached to this shaft v ia t w o setscre w s or t w o clamps (t ubu lar shaft style)
(one on each side of the w heel). The clamp style is sec u red in placed b y t w o
3/8 socket head scre w s. These scre w s sho u ld b e checked on start u p for tight-
ness. If loose, they w ill need to b e eq u ally tighten.
T w o styles of b earings are u sed on the air handlers. The dri v en end (motor
side) b earings are a flange b lock style. The b earing on the side opposite the
motor is also a flange style on TT112 - TT221, on TT224 - TT236 this is a pil-
lo
w b lock style. All of the b earings are eq u ipped w ith eccentric locking collars.
These b earings sho u ld b e checked for tightness b efore start u p. To re tighten if
necessary, yo u m u st rotate the collar in the direction the shaft t u rns. Loosen
the setscre w that locks the collar to the shaft. Use a p u nch w ith a hammer to
gi v e the collar a hard strike to set the collar then tighten the setscre w do w n
again.
Manifold Periodically check f u el control assem b ly, and internal and external piping for
leaks. Relief v ent lines to o u tdoors on f u el controls sho u ld b e checked to
ens u re against b lockage ca u sed b y insects or any other s ub stance. Clean as
req u ired.
All gas piping to the air handler m u st comply w ith the National F u el Gas Code
- NFPA54, latest edition and all local codes. Verify gas so u ndness of each
SSOV (Safety Sh u t Off Val v e). This test m u st b e repeated after the first 100
ho u rs of operation.

Air Flow Switch An ann u al check of the t ub es attached to the air flo w s w itch sho u ld b e made
to ens u re against b lockage ca u sed b y insects or any other s ub stance. Clean
as req u ired.

Electric Components Check to see there is no physical damage on any of the electric components
and
v erify all electrical connections are sec u re. Ens u re eq u ipment is properly
gro u nded.
