Manually position the Theta Alignment Tool under the FlexJet head.
Align and insert the tool into the Coupler Body assemblies. Refer to
the following diagram. If the tool is correctly seated against the
Coupler Bodies, the spindles cannot rotate when the Timing Belt
(theta) pulley is rotated.

Adjust the Encoder Counts Value
There is only one pulse per revolution of the Theta Encoder.

Loosen the top set screw on the Bellows Coupling. Refer to the
following diagram.

The 3 left-most diagnostic LEDs on the FlexJet Control PCA indicate a
count range for theta. (These LEDs can be helpful to indicate theta if the
PC board is easily visible during the setup.) Refer to the diagnostic-LED
drawing and chart in the
Assembly Drawings section of this document.
