Loosen the nuts and slowly move the Z Safe emitter and receiver up,
then down until a signal of 100 or greater displays and the orange
indicator LED illuminates. (Move the emitter and receiver in the same
direction.) Then tighten the nuts.
Do not over-tighten the sensor clamp screws.

Verify that the Z-Safe Sensor slots are perpendicular to the length of
the Optic Bracket. If they are not perpendicular, loosen the nut(s) and
carefully rotate the emitter or receiver, then tighten the nuts. Refer to
the following diagram.

Remove the extra 0.01 inches (0,254 mm) from the gap and verify that
there is still a signal greater that 100 and the orange indicator LED is
illuminated. The signal should be 100 or greater with a gap of (Home
+ 0.02 inches) to (Home + 0.03 inches). If this condition is not present,
repeat this section from step 1.
Final Steps
1.
Remove the shim(s) from behind the Z-Home Sensor actuator bracket
and verify that the orange indicator LED is still illuminated.
2.
Remove any loose tools and parts from the machine and install the
FlexJet Head Cover.
3.
Install the safety cover below the hinged cover.
4.
If feeders were removed, install the feeders to match the UPS feeder
configuration.
