Use tapered feeler gauges to determine the gap between the Z-Home
Sensor and the Z-Home actuator bracket (on the Stop Bracket).

Shim the Stop Bracket to the gap value plus 0.03 inches (0,762 mm) on
the right side of the head. Use a 0.02 inch (0,508 mm) shim and 0.01
inch (0,254 mm) shim together.
Example: If the measured gap is 0.025 inches (0,635 mm), shim the
bracket to 0.025 + 0.03 = 0.055 inches (1,4 mm).
4.
Verify that the digital readout is greater than 100 and the orange
indicator LED is on.
• If the digital readout is not greater than 100 and/or the orange
indicator LED is not on, continue with the Adjust the Sensor Signal
section.
• If the digital readout is greater than 100 and the orange indicator
LED is on, continue with the Final Steps section.
Adjust the Sensor Signal
1.
Verify that the holes in the Spindle Housings are not blocked with
debris. If any of the holes are blocked, carefully clean the holes with
stiff, thin wire. If the signal is restored, continue with the Final Steps
section.
2.
Verify that the beam from the emitter on the Head MNT Platform is
aligned on the hole in the Spindle Housing as seen below.
