4-M/E Main Panel
+/- Button
The
+/-
button changes the sign of the value currently being input on the
Master E-MEM keypad. This button can be pressed either before or after
the value has been typed into the keypad, but before it is completed with
Enter
or
Trim
. Pressing
+/-
by itself followed by
Enter
negates the current
value.
Master E-MEM Direct Bank Selection Buttons
The Master E-MEM subpanel has ten dedicated direct bank selection
buttons (
Bank 0-9
).
Master E-MEM Prefix Button Group
Besides the four prefix buttons next to the keypad, the Master E-MEM sub-
panel has additional prefix buttons arranged along the top.
Master E-MEM Trans Rate Button
On the Master E-MEM subpanel the
Trans Rate
prefix button is located
above the Enable buttons, not next to the keypad as on an individual M/E
E-MEM. This button only affects rate data entry for PGM PST, and cannot
be used to enter rates for an individual M/E E-MEM. See
Trans Rate Button
on page 108 .
The following prefix buttons are only on the Master E-MEM keypad.
Knob Set Button
The
Knob Set
button is inactive in Release 11.0.
Put Effect Button
The
Put Eff
button copies the contents of the current effect register(s) to a
specified register. Only enabled levels are affected. The status of the work
buffer and the current effect number are not affected by this operation. The
Put Eff
operation does not copy sequence link information or sequence delay
times) to the destination register.
The
Put Eff
button goes high tally when pressed, and the E-MEM readout
displays a prompt. For example, if Bank 0 and register 7 are currently
selected, the display prompts
PUT CUR INTO 0x .
To perform a put operation use the following procedure:

If the destination register is locked, the operation will not be performed, an
error will be indicated, and the readout will display
REG IS LOCKED .
