Transform Engine Menus

 

Picture Menu

The Picture menu controls the appearance of an image (Blur, Freeze) and 
provides motion interpolation controls. This menu is available on Kalypso 
Classic systems, and on Kalypso HD/Duo systems running an interlaced 
video format. The menu is accessed by touching

Transform Engine Menu Delegation

The Picture menu has a delegation matrix similar to the Transform Engine 
menu, but has no Global channels. Interpolation settings and values in the 
rest of the menu are for the currently delegated keyer. 

Input Freeze

The incoming video can be frozen withthe 

Freeze

 button. The Transform 

Engine always captures a full frame of video. Once frozen, you can choose 
to display the image as a 

Frame

, 

Field 1

, or 

Field 2

. 

Note

On Kalypso HD/Duo systems, frozen images are not filtered when trans-
formed. A frozen image will look perfect when captured, but transforming the 
image may produce visible artifacts. These artifacts are not present when live 
video is transformed on Kalypso HD/Duo systems, and are not present on 
Kalypso Classic systems with either live or frozen transformed video.
