Menu Organization
The
Offset
and
Size
knobs controls the position or size of the wash. It is
labeled
Offset
when the wash being adjusted is associated with a wipe
border (keyer preset pattern or transition wipe) and the generator chosen
for the wash is the same as that chosen for the wipe itself. In this case the
parameter controls the position relative to the center of the border allowing
the wash to track the pattern size. The label for this control changes to
Size
if any of the above are not true to indicate size of the wash will not track a
pattern size.
Soft
controls the softness of the wash.
When the generator is a utility bus, these knobs change to
Clip
and
Gain
,
respectively as an indication the wash is derived by slicing a video signal.
The
Gen:
button leads to the generator selection menu.
GenAdj
leads to menus that adjust the wash generator’s parameters. These
are the same as the wipe generator adjust menus with the exception of the
background generator points of use, as described below.
Matte Point Of Use Delegation Menu
These menus select the point of use to be adjusted in the matte menu. Press
Pou:
↓ ↓ ↓ ↓
to access these menus.
When a keyer is delegated the menu in Figure 289 appears.
Note To see changes made to matte fill you must also select Mat Fill in the Keyer
Type menu.
When a transition wipe is delegated the menu in Figure 290 appears.
These buttons in each of these menus are a local radio group. Pressing a
button changes the delegation and returns to the Matte top menu.
