Servicing the Fan Power Boards

You must remove both fan power boards to access the paddle card or to access the
drives data cables in the Sun Fire X4140 Server.

Note –

FRU

: This field-replaceable unit should be replaced only by qualified service

technicians. Contact your Sun Service representative for assistance.

Caution –

Ensure that all power is removed from the server before removing or

installing fan power boards. You must disconnect the power cables before
performing this procedure.
