Safety
Considerations
Before ȱ being ȱ cured, ȱ resins ȱ are ȱ hazardous ȱ materials. ȱ To ȱ prevent ȱ possible ȱ
health ȱ hazards, ȱ follow ȱ these ȱ precautions ȱ regarding ȱ printing ȱ materials: ȱ
•
Do ȱ not ȱ expose ȱ to ȱ flames, ȱ heat ȱ or ȱ sparks.
•
Prevent ȱ contact ȱ with ȱ skin ȱ and ȱ eyes.
•
Ventilate ȱ areas ȱ where ȱ they ȱ are ȱ handled. ȱ
•
Keep ȱ them ȱ separate ȱ from ȱ food ȱ and ȱ drink.
Cured ȱ plastic ȱ parts, ȱ however, ȱ are ȱ safe. ȱ They ȱ can ȱ be ȱ handled ȱ and ȱ stored ȱ
without ȱ precautions.
Disposal
Dispose ȱ of ȱ cartridges ȱ of ȱ model ȱ and ȱ support ȱ material ȱ in ȱ accordance ȱ with ȱ all ȱ
applicable ȱ laws ȱ and ȱ regulations. ȱ If ȱ necessary, ȱ the ȱ cartridges ȱ can ȱ be ȱ
disassembled ȱ for ȱ recycling. ȱ
Work Environment
Extreme ȱ heat ȱ and ȱ humidity ȱ conditions ȱ can ȱ adversely ȱ affect ȱ the ȱ operation ȱ of ȱ
the ȱ Stratasys ȱ 3D ȱ printer. ȱ Use ȱ ventilation ȱ or ȱ air Ȭ conditioning ȱ systems, ȱ if ȱ
necessary, ȱ to ȱ keep ȱ the ȱ work ȱ area ȱ within ȱ the ȱ following ȱ ranges:
