Problems
If ȱ the ȱ printer ȱ detects ȱ that ȱ there ȱ is ȱ a ȱ problem ȱ after ȱ you ȱ install ȱ print ȱ heads, ȱ
relevant ȱ warning ȱ screens ȱ appear.

If ȱ the ȱ printer ȱ software ȱ does ȱ not ȱ detect ȱ the ȱ replaced ȱ head, ȱ the ȱ following ȱ
warning ȱ screen ȱ appears. ȱ

If ȱ this ȱ happens: ȱ
a. Open ȱ the ȱ print ȱ head ȱ compartment ȱ (see ȱ figure 6 Ȭ 68 ȱ on ȱ page 46).
b. Re Ȭ insert ȱ the ȱ print Ȭ head ȱ driver ȱ card ȱ into ȱ its ȱ socket ȱ (see ȱ figure 6 Ȭ 72 ȱ
on ȱ page 48).
c. In ȱ the ȱ wizard ȱ screen, ȱ select ȱ the ȱ check ȱ box ȱ to ȱ confirm ȱ that ȱ you ȱ have ȱ
re Ȭ inserted ȱ the ȱ card ȱ and ȱ click ȱ

If ȱ the ȱ replacement ȱ head ȱ was ȱ not ȱ factory Ȭ calibrated, ȱ the ȱ following ȱ
warning ȱ screen ȱ appears. ȱ

a. Remove ȱ the ȱ head ȱ and ȱ replace ȱ it ȱ with ȱ another ȱ one ȱ (starting ȱ with ȱ
step 10 ȱ on ȱ page 46).
b. In ȱ the ȱ wizard ȱ screen, ȱ select ȱ the ȱ check ȱ box ȱ to ȱ confirm ȱ that ȱ you ȱ have ȱ
installed ȱ another ȱ print ȱ head ȱ and ȱ click ȱ Next .
c. Contact ȱ your ȱ authorized ȱ Customer ȱ Support ȱ center ȱ about ȱ the ȱ
unformatted ȱ head.
