Appendix D. OCP Information

Configure Menu

The Configure menus and screens allow users to configure library settings, the drive
SCSI ID(s), network settings, the access PIN, and the library’s date and time setting.

The Configure menu also includes an option to add license keys for feature upgrades.
Note that since license keys are long alpha-numeric codes, it is more efficient to use
the Remote Library Controller (RLC)—hence a computer keyboard—to enter the keys.

Note:

Since these screens are used to enter or change information, they
may be locked with an access PIN. When the access PIN is
enabled, only users who enter the correct PIN are able to view
these screens.

Note:

This menu also includes access to restore library defaults. Take
precautions before restoring library defaults so as not to lose data;
contact Spectra Logic Technical Support for more information.
