Moving Media within the Library
Follow the steps below to move tape cartridges within the library.
1.
Log in to the RLC as Admin.
2.
Select
Operations > Move Media
. The Move Media screen appears (Figure 5-10).
3.
Select the source of the tape from the Source window on the left.
4.
Select the destination of the tape from the Destination window on the right.
5.
Select the
Move
button in the center of the screen to initiate the move.
When the move is complete, the screen refreshes with the updated inventory.
