Using the RLC to Clean the Drive
1.
Log in to the RLC as Admin.
2.
Select
Service > Clean Drive
. The Clean Drive screen appears (Figure 6-2).
3.
For the Slot #, select
Mailslot
(where you just imported the cleaning tape).
4.
Select the drive to clean.
5.
Select
Clean
.
The RLC screen grays out during the clean operation, and the OCP shows that it
is
Busy
.
When complete, the robot returns the cleaning cartridge to the mailslot, and a
pop-up window informs you that the cleaning operation was successful.
6.
Repeat Step 3 through Step 5 for the second drive, if applicable.
7.
When you are finished cleaning the drive(s), remove the cleaning cartridge from
the library.

menu directions.
