Loading and Unloading Media
Once you have released the magazine from the library, you can unload and load tapes.
If you need to replace tapes in specific slots, note the numbering scheme below.
Note:
For safety reasons, the robotics do not move while the magazine is
out; they will not start again until the magazine is replaced.
Magazine Numbering Schemes
Figure 7-3 shows the slot numbering for the left magazine; Figure 7-4 shows the right.
When you have finished replacing media, reinstall the magazine(s), then use your
backup software to re-inventory the library.
