Page menu.

Command Function
Auto Refine Displays a dialog box with checkboxes for page, text,
picture, and background refinement settings. See
“Image Editing and Refinement” later in this
chapter for more information.
Refine Provides a cascading menu of refinement commands
that you can run individually on the current page or
selected image segment. Refine commands are
described in Table 4–2, next page.
Manual
Straighten Enables you to draw a reference line on the
displayed page and straighten the page along the
reference line. For more information, see
“Straightening pages” later in this chapter.
Rotate Enables you to rotate the page to any specific degree
of rotation. For more information, see “Rotating
pages” later in this chapter.
Crop to
Region Enables you remove unwanted surrounding area
from the displayed page or image. For more
information, see “Cropping pages” later in this
chapter.
Brightness
& Contrast Provides a dialog box to lighten or darken a page
and decrease or increase the difference between
light and dark colors on a page. For more
information, see “Adjusting brightness and contrast”
later in this chapter.
Invert
Colors Reverses the displayed image’s colors. This is useful
if you want to scan a film negative and invert it to
positive in the Editor.
Sharpen Applies an image enhancement filter to the current
page, providing a crisper appearance.
