Operator Connections
This section describes the various features used to manage operator
connections to the MGC Manager. All levels of operators may use this
feature.
Working with connections involves the following:
• Listing the operators who are currently logged into the MCU
• Closing an operator’s connection
•
Checking the ID number of an operator’s connection
The MCU issues an ID number for each login. The system allocates a 0 to the
first operator who logs in. The ID number is incremented by one for every
additional operator. For example, the second operator to login will receive an
ID number of 1. The ID numbers are reset whenever the MCU is reset.
Viewing Operator Connections
To list the operators who are currently connected to the system:
1. In the Browser pane of the main window, double-click the name of the
MCU whose connections you wish to list.
A list of options appears below the MCU’s icon.
2. Double-click the MCU Configuration icon or click the plus [+] icon next
to the MCU Configuration icon.
A list of configuration options appears below the MCU Configuration
icon.
3. Double-click the Connections icon or click on the plus [+] icon next to
the Connections icon.
A list of participants appears below the Connections icon. All
participants currently connected to this MCU appear in the list.
