Setting the remote to control
other components
Most com p onents can be assigned to one of
the
MULTI CONTROL
buttons using the
com p onent’s manufactu r e r pr eset code sto r ed
in the r emote.
Howeve r , p lease note that the r e a r e cases
whe r e only ce r tain functions may be
cont r ollable afte r assigning the pr o p e r pr eset
code, o r the codes fo r the manufactu r e r in the
r emote cont r ol will not wo r k fo r the model that
you a r e using.

• You can cancel o r exit any of the ste p s by
pr essing
RECEIVER

• Afte r one minute of inactivity, the r emote
automatically exits the o p e r ation.
Selecting preset codes directly
1 While pressing the RECEIVER button,
press and hold the ‘1’ button for three
seconds.
2 Press the MULTI CONTROL button for the
component you want to control.
The com p onent can be assigned to the BD, TV,
DVR o r VIDEO button.
3 Use the number buttons to enter the
preset code.
You can find the pr eset codes on p age 56.
If the co rr ect code has been in p ut the p owe r of
the com p onent being in p ut will tu r n on o r off.
The p owe r of the com p onent being in p ut will
only tu r n on o r off if that com p onent is able to
be tu r ned on di r ectly by r emote cont r ol.
4 Repeat steps 2 through 3 to try a different
code, or to enter a code for another
component you want to control.
5 When you’re done, press RECEIVER.
Clearing all the remote control
settings
You can clea r all pr esets and r esto r e the facto r y
default settings.
• While pressing the RECEIVER button,
press and hold the ‘0’ button for three
seconds.

1 TV codes (fo r exam p le, codes fo r TV, CATV, Satellite TV o r DTV) can only be assigned to the
TV
button.
