Connecting to the front panel
video terminal
F r ont video connections a r e accessed via the
f r ont p anel using the
INPUT SELECTOR
o r
VIDEO
button on the r emote cont r ol. The r e a r e
standa r d audio/video jacks. Hook them u p the
same way you made the r ea r p anel connections.
• Push down on the
PUSH OPEN
tab to
access the f r ont video connections.
Connecting antennas
Connect the AM loo p antenna and the FM wi r e
antenna as shown below. To im pr ove
r ece p tion and sound quality, connect exte r nal
antennas (see Using external antennas on
p age 20).
1 Push open the tabs, then insert one wire
fully into each terminal, then release the tabs
to secure the AM antenna wires.
2 Fix the AM loop antenna to the attached
stand.
To fix the stand to the antenna, bend in the
di
r ection indicated by the a rr ow ( fig. a ) then
cli p the loo p onto the stand ( fig. b ).
3 Place the AM antenna on a flat surface
and in a direction giving the best reception.
4 Connect the FM wire antenna in the same
way as the AM loop antenna.
Fo r best r esults, extend the FM antenna fully
and fix to a wall o r doo r f r ame. Don’t d r a p e
loosely o r leave coiled u p .
