2.5.5  Sensor Detection Recording

When the signal of a sensor that is attached to the camera is detected, sensor recording starts. Set the sensor
detection method for individual cameras (

 Page 38).

Sensor recording only operates when the JPEG format is selected. If the MPEG-4 format is selected, change
the format to JPEG (

®

Page 28).

From the multi-monitoring window, select a camera for sensor detection recording.

A green frame is displayed around the selected camera.

  and select [Start Sensor Detection Recording] from the menu displayed.

Starts sensor detection recording by the selected camera.

To stop recording from a camera, select the camera, click  

, and select [Stop Sensor Detection

You can set the camera to record a certain number of seconds before and after a sensor signal is
detected. The detection method that you have set may not be sufficient for sensor detection recording
depending on the resolution, image quality, the recording subject, and network environment. To ensure
proper operation, test the sensor recording.
