Description
Operating at the time of
detection
Designate the command to be executed when an alarm is detected.
Details of each command are set with the [Control when event is detected]
screen. (

Start output from external output of the camera
When a detection is made, commands ([Open]/[Short]) are executed to
the external devices connected to the camera.

Execute optional commands
When a detection is made, optional commands are executed.
•
Pop-up the camera image
When a detection is made, a pop-up camera image of the detected
image is displayed. (

Forward
When a detection is made, a message is sent to the specified destination
address. (

Subject: Enter the notification message subject (44 characters or
less). ["] cannot be entered.

Image: When [Attach] is selected, detected camera images (JPEG)
are sent as E-mail attachments.
Note
•
The contents of the sent E-mail is comprised of: the camera name, detection type, and the time stamp.
Time stamps are displayed as [year/month/day hour:minute:second].
For example, 2010 January 1, 15:20:55 is shown as [2010/01/01 15:20:55].
•
Some of the alarm setting specifications for WV series network cameras and some BL series network
cameras differ to other cameras. See Page 162 for more information.
Notice
•
Configure alarm detection after an alarm has been attached to the camera. Setting alarm detection
without an alarm causes a malfunction.
Setting the sensor detection method
The sensor can be set for detection patterns, the recording time, etc.
Note
•
Only cameras with the [Data Format] set to [JPEG] on the [Image Settings] page can be configured.

An error message is displayed when the setting is [MPEG-4] or [H.264].
The data format will change to [JPEG] when you click [OK].
