Setting i-channel
Default setting Telop display setting: ON
Telop speed setting: Normal
You can set whether i-channel information is
displayed on the standby screen as a telop or not.
You can also set the scroll speed of the telop on the
standby screen.
●
When the “Telop display setting” is set to “ON”, the
standby screen displays a telop repeatedly. When it is
set to “Receiving”, the standby screen displays a
telop only twice when information is newly received.

Telop display setting …… Sets whether the telop of
channel information is displayed on the standby screen
(ON/Receiving/OFF).
Telop speed setting

Selects the scrolling speed of
the telop on the standby screen from “Normal/High/
Low”.

The Telop display setting remains when you unsubscribe from
i-channel or when you unsubscribe from i-mode service
before unsubscribing from i-channel, however telops will not
be displayed automatically.

If you set the Telop display setting to “ON” before subscribing
to i-channel service, telop is not displayed.
z
You cannot change the i-channel setting in the following
cases:
・ When the FOMA card is not inserted
・ When All lock is set
・ When PIM lock is set
