● Telop on the standby screen
If you have subscribed to i-channel, telop is
displayed on the standby screen automatically when
information is received.
● When the signal condition is not good, the FOMA
terminal may not be able to receive information. In
this case, press

to display the channel list to
receive information.
Information is received by pressing

at the time of
purchase.
● The “ ” icon flashes during receiving i-channel
information.
● You can set the telop display with “i-Channel setting”.

Using Channel List to Display
Sites
You can display channel list screen to access
information sites of i-channel.
You can display up to 15 channels including both
“Basic channel” and “Favorite channel” on the
channel list.
1 On the standby screen

The “Channel list screen” appears.
You can display the channel list
screen by selecting “i-channel”
in the i-mode menu.

If you are not subscribed to the i-channel service, a
notification appears saying that you have not subscribed to
the i-channel when i-channel is activated. You can access to
the i-channel information page and subscribe to the i-channel
service by selecting “ ご説明 & お申込（ Explanation &
Subscription ） ” from the screen. Depending on the
communication conditions, the before screen may reappear
after a message saying that the i-channel service is not
subscribed to is displayed.

Information may be received when the channel list screen is
displayed in some cases.
z
When information is received, the ring tone will not sound,
and the vibrator does not vibrate. Also, the incoming call lamp
does not flash.
z
You can change the i-channel host, though there is normally
no need to change the host. → P.197

The channel list screen is not displayed in the following
cases:
・ When the FOMA card is not inserted
・ When All lock is set
・ When PIM lock is set
z
A message saying that the channel information is not
received may be displayed in the following cases:
・ When you change the i-channel host
・ When you initialize the FOMA terminal
・ When you change the FOMA card (UIM)
