Reconnecting to the last displayed page
<Last URL>
Every time you view a website, the displayed URL is
stored as the “Last URL”. When you end an i-mode
session, the website displayed for the last time is
stored as the “Last URL”. You can reconnect to the
website displayed for the last time using the “Last
URL”.

Viewing and Using Sites
This section describes the operations for viewing
sites or websites.
Image display
●
Your FOMA terminal can display GIF and JPEG
format images and Flash movies (P.187). However,
the FOMA terminal may be unable to display some
images regardless of the format.
●
You can specify whether or not images are displayed
in the “Set image display” setting (P.185). If you
change the “Set image display” setting in the function
menu from “OFF” to “ON” while a page on a site is
loading and then use “Reload” (P.187), images are
displayed. Even if you changed the setting from “ON”
to “OFF”, loaded images remain displayed.

Displayed image icons
(color) : Displayed while an image is loaded
or when “OFF” is selected in the “Set
image display” setting
: Displayed when image loading is
failed
(B/W) : Displayed when image cannot be
loaded
Selecting links and other options
When you are using i-mode, you may need to
perform operations such as those described below.

Link
Select the item to proceed to the linked page.

Text box
You can enter text directly. When you select a text
box, the text entry screen appears.

Pull-down menu
You can select one option from the list of selectable
options. Only a part of the selectable options is
displayed but hidden options appear as a list when
you select the pull-down menu.

Radio button
You can select only one of the selectable options.
indicates that the option is selected.

Checkbox
You can select multiple options from the selectable
options.
indicates that the option is selected.

Button
When you select a button, the function assigned to
the button is activated.
Jumping to previous/next pages
You can jump forward or back to a page that has
been stored in the FOMA terminal’s cache (up to 30
pages are stored).

You can review the pages you have visited in the current
i-mode session by repeatedly pressing

. However, when
you have pressed

to return to an earlier page (from “C” to
“B”) and then visit another page from that page (from “B” to
“D”), pressing

twice from page “D” will not display page
“C”, but will take you back to “B” and then to page “A” (see
below). The previous page is displayed in order of “D”, “B”,
and “A”.
