<Keypad sound>
Setting the Keypad Tone
● Setting this function to “OFF” also disables the following tones:
・ Warning tones ・ Battery level tone
・
The tone emitted when you start adjusting the volume
・
Alarm clock snooze release tone
● The keypad sound is played at the level set in “Volume” during a call, and fixed at the same level while not talking on
the phone.
●
You can set the keypad tone in the “Initial setting” (P.49).

Setting the Confirmation Tone for Charging
This function sets to emit a short double-beep (“bibip”) when charging starts and ends.
● The confirmation tone does not sound regardless of the setting specified in this function when:
・
The standby screen is not displayed
・
You are dialing
・ You receive a call ・ During a voice call
・ When Manner mode is set ・ When Public mode (Driving mode) is set
・
Standby voice memo is recorded
・
Voice announce is recorded
・
Data is sent and received
・
The FOMA terminal is turned off

Setting the FOMA Terminal to Warn You Before a Call Drops Out
The FOMA terminal uses this function to sound an alarm tone warning you that the signal quality is
deteriorating and the call is likely to drop out.
● The call may drop out without a warning tone if the signal quality worsens very quickly.

Setting the Ring Time for Incoming Mail
You can set a ring time when you receive mail, chat mail or a Message R/F.

The incoming call lamp and the backlight of the keys also flash while the FOMA terminal is ringing.

Select “Mail” to set the ring duration for i-mode mail and SMS.

“ON” Enter the ring time (01 to 30 seconds in 2 digits)
