NOTE:
The 4 red peak-LEDs, each for every input channel on the front side, are only relevant while
operating with microphones! They will be lit, if an overmodulation of the A/D-converter occurs. In this
case the gain of the entrance amplifier has to be lowered until the LED expires.
During LINE-operation the red LED will only be lit, if the headroom of 18 dBu is used to full capacity.
The entrance level then has to be lowered accordingly, since the Merk II doesn’t feature a
potentiometer in front of the A/D-converter.
Additionally there is one popup-screen which appears if one of the controllers is turned during the
normal menu display of the frontpanel. This popup-screen will automatically disappear again after a
specific time-period.

Note:
It is possible to control and change all settings made with function-keys and controllers ex post
in the studio which makes an error correction available.
