2.5.
Start Remote Control Software
•
To start the remote control software, click on the program icon or double-click on the
name of the program file in the program list in Explorer.
The remote control program automatically starts the COM interface after it is called up. If a
Merk II is connected to one of the COM interfaces, the program recognizes the gateway
and synchronizes itself with it automatically.
2.6.
Control Remote Control Software via the Keyboard using
Speed Dialling
As an alternative to controlling using the mouse, most of the CENTAURI remote control
software functions can also be controlled using the keyboard. Here an overview:

Is the same as mouse-clicking on ”OK”;

Is the same as mouse-clicking on ”Cancel”:
Phonebook dialog

For editing an entry in Phone book; corresponds to double-clicking
on a Phonebook entry with the mouse;
Enter
Uses the Phonebook entry selected at that particular moment; cor-
responds to clicking on the ”Connect” switch with the mouse;
Delete
Deletes the Phonebook entry selected at that particular moment;
corresponds to clicking on ”DEL” with the mouse;
Insert
Creates a new Phonebook entry; corresponds to clicking on ”New”
with the mouse;
Profile dialog in the <Expert/profiles> menu

For editing the profile selected at that particular moment; corre-
sponds to double-clicking on a profile with the mouse;
Delete
Deletes the profile selected at that particular moment; corresponds
to double-clicking on ”DEL” with the mouse;
Insert
Creates a new profile; corresponds to double-clicking on ”New”
with the mouse;
