Steps for the Merk II
•
Set
SETUP NETWORK ADDRESS
on the front of the device and then enter
'192.168.1.101'.
•
Boot the Merk II anew (switch off and then on again)
Enter MERK II for Controlling via IP
•
In order to enter a MERK II in the remote control software, select
SETTINGS REMOTE
SETTINGS (manual)
. The following dialog window opens:

Click on ”IP” and enter the IP Address of the MERK II that is to be controlled with the
software under ”Add New MERK II”.
Port 2000 has nothing to do with Port 2001 that has been entered in the MERK II
under ”Network”! Changing one of these two or both values results in communica-
tion problems!

So that the entries are effective, click on ”OK”.
Difference between 'Now' and 'Next Start':
- In the case of 'Now' the connection to the given IP Address is activated immediate
- In the case of 'Next Start' the connection to the given IP Address is first valid the next
time the remote control software is started.
Advantage:
If the current stage of the remote control software is not closed and the remote control
software started again with a new IP Address, several MERK IIs can be controlled
simultaneously.
