Troubleshooting
8.1.
Monitor Device Condition
If any problems arise with the MERK II, it is recommended that you first check the device’s
operational data. For this purpose the device displays the operational data.
(a) Via the front panel:

To display one of these masks, proceed as follows:
•
Select the
MISC
option in the Start mask (see
Figure 4
) and press
.
•
Select
SYSTEM HEALTH
or
VERSIONS
and press
.
•
To close the respective mask again, press .
(b) Via the remote control software:
The remote control software provides a range of operational and device data displays.
These can be accessed via the menu in the main window.
•
Select
STATUS
<desired dialog window>. The following dialog windows are offered:
–
MERK II Identification; change of entry is possible;
–
MERK II Time; change of entry is possible;
–
MERK II Software Versions
–
MERK II Hardware and
–
MERK II Health; a tick in the control box means: value in permissible range. The
display is not updated
