Nexam Pro User Manual

Chapter 2

NOTE

For correct functioning of the pump, it is essential that the

bag of saline

hangs freely

on the hook of the pump.

When the pump is running, the bag should not be

touched, because this can affect the infused volume
measurement.

NOTE

Ensure that the correct specific weight of the infusion

liquid is set in the investigation protocol. This is essential
as the infused volume is calculated by determining the

decrease in weight of the infusion liquid. If a video-mix
option is fitted, the system will automatically calculate

infused volume using the specific weight entered for the
contrast liquid if, and only if, the video-mix option is

switched ON.
