Using the Service Switch
The service switch is located behind the right cover at the top right corner of the MCS board.

Touch the Pause icon on the display screen to close the film cartridge.
[2]
De-energize the laser imager, and then disconnect the power cord.
[3]
Remove the:
• Top cover (see Adjustments and Replacements,
“Top Cover”
).
• Right cover (see Adjustments and Replacements,
“Right Cover”
).

To activate the service switch, push the button down to SERV.
[5]
To deactivate the service switch, push the button up to NORMAL.
The Service Mode icon disappears from the display screen.
