Fridgewatch 2100 Controller Mk4
Publication 3-58
Section 3
Issue 1.1 : 01/08
Cause:
The pressure of the refrigerant vapour in the discharge line has exceeded
the HP cut-out setting.
Remarks:
The Home Page indicates which compressor has tripped. Check the
refrigeration system as described in the plant instruction manual.
E7
Low Oil Differential Pressure (ODP): Trip, Compressor Healthy
Off, Manual Reset
This event code is implemented for all applications
Cause:
Adequate oil differential pressure ODPS, measured between lubricating
oil pressure and suction pressure, was not established within S52
seconds after Fridgewatch 2100 received a ‘compressor running’ signal,
or the differential pressure fell below the required value during operation.
Remarks:
The Home Page indicates which compressor has tripped. Check the oil
system as described in the plant instruction manual.
E8
Compressor Failed To Unload: Trip, Compressor Healthy Off,
Manual Reset
This event code is implemented for all applications.
Cause:
The Fridgewatch 2100 Controller has tried and failed to return the
compressor slide valves to minimum load, i.e. the minimum position
switch contacts are open.
Remarks:
The Home Page indicates which compressor has tripped. Check the
compressor capacity control system:
•
Unload speed control throttle valve set incorrectly - refer to
the plant instruction manual.
•
Faulty capacity control solenoid valve(s).
•
Faulty or incorrectly set minimum slide valve position switch;
refer to the HallScrew Operators Manual in Section 2 of the
plant instruction manual.
•
Capacity control valve incorrectly specified for the tripped
compressor in configuration setting S62, S107 or S108.
E9
Compressor Failed to Start: Trip, Compressor Healthy Off,
Manual Reset
This event code is implemented for all applications.
Cause:
When the compressor motor starts, a ‘running’ signal, indicating that the
motor is operating, must be supplied to Fridgewatch 2100 before S51
Compressor Start Time expires.
Remarks:
The Home Page indicates which compressor has tripped. Check the
compressor or auxiliaries motor starter operation, and running interlocks
(as appropriate).
