E2
High Discharge Temperature: Trip, Compressor Healthy Off,
Manual Reset
This event code is implemented for all applications which use a discharge
high temperature thermistor.
Cause:
The temperature of the refrigerant gas in the discharge line has exceeded
the discharge HT thermistor temperature;
Remarks:
The Home Page indicates which compressor has tripped. Check the oil
circuit and compressor liquid injection or oil cooling system as described
in the plant instruction manual.

Not used
E4
Low Oil Level In Separator/Reservoir: Trip, Compressor
Healthy Off, Manual Reset
This event code is not usually implemented on low stage (booster)
applications.
Cause:
The oil level in the oil separator/reservoir has fallen to a dangerously low
level; low enough to expose the opto-electronic liquid sensor.
Remarks:
Common to all compressors. Check the oil separator/reservoir oil level,
replenish if necessary. Check the operation of the oil low level opto
sensor; refer to the plant instruction manual.
For low stage (booster) applications that do not monitor oil level, check
that terminals 119/120 are linked on the 3MIO1 card (refer to Fig 24),
terminals x119/x120 on the 3MIO2 card for compressors 2 and 3 (refer to
Fig 26).
E5
LP Cut-out (or fuse FS2 blown): Trip, Compressor Healthy Off,
Manual Reset
This event code is implemented for all applications which use a low
pressure cut-out.
Cause 1:
The pressure of the refrigerant vapour in the suction line has fallen below
the LP cut-out setting.
Remarks:
The Home Page indicates which compressor has tripped. Check the
refrigeration system as described in the plant instruction manual. Also
check the Fridgewatch 2100 Controller stop value(s) and the suction
pressure limiting system (if fitted).
Cause 2:
Fuse FS2 blown; refer to Fig 16.
Remarks:
FS2 supplies 24 V dc to the trip circuit. If this fuse blows, Fridgewatch
2100 is unable to distinguish this from the LP cut-out contacts opening
and will signal an E5 trip.
E6
HP Cut-out: Trip, Compressor Healthy Off, Manual Reset
This event code is implemented for all applications.
