•
Check all package unit and field wiring.
•
Check the jumpers on the 3MIO1 and 3MIO2 cards are set
correctly, also check links to the terminals on these cards have
been made correctly; refer to Fig 23 and Fig 25.
CAUTION
Failure to correctly configure the 3MIO1 and 3MIO2
cards may cause the plant to malfunction and/or
damage the Fridgewatch 2100 Controller.
9.3.
Transducer Calibration and Potentiometer Adjustment
Calibrate transducers by adjusting the appropriate Zero Z and Gain G
potentiometers illustrated on Fig 23 and Fig 25; refer to 12.1. Calibration
of Pressure Transducers and 12.2. Calibration of Temperature
Transducers.
9.4.
Inputting Configuration and Operator Settings During
Commissioning, Operating Mode for the First Start
The procedure for initially inputting Configuration and Operator Settings
differs slightly from the procedure used to change these settings after
commissioning.
When power is first supplied to the Fridgewatch 2100 Controller, the
display shows ‘System Unconfigured’, ‘Restart system and enter
Configuration Mode’, the panel is locked and none of the input buttons
will operate. The panel is unlocked by changing the value of
Configuration Setting S41 to a non-zero value.
CAUTION
In unlocking the Fridgewatch 2100 panel, the
commissioning engineer must take responsibility to
ensure all Configuration and Operator Settings are set
to appropriate values that will not result in damage to
the HallScrew compressor or associated plant.
9.4.1.
Inputting Configuration Settings During Commissioning
Initially, Configuration Settings will depict their default values as defined
in 16. Appendix 3 - Settings Record.
(a)
Insert the Supervisor Key into the Supervisor Keyswitch on the
panel and turn the key to the Unlocked position.
(b)
Open the door to the top half of the control panel enclosure. It is
quite safe to do this with power already supplied to Fridgewatch
2100 as the voltages inside this part of the enclosure are very low
(24 V dc), however, avoid touching ‘live’ terminals or disturbing
wiring.
Locate the reset button on the back of the RAMP4 Processor Card
on the rear of the door; refer to Fig 20. Press the reset button.
The panel alarm sounder emits a ‘beep’ and the software version
number will be displayed. Immediately after the ‘beep’, press and
hold down the
CONFIGURATION SETTINGS button. The
message ‘Initialising FW2100 – Configuration Mode Selected’
appears briefly. After a few seconds, the configuration settings list
appears in the display.
