1 Amp current transformer, sensing current in the line
conductor, with a 1
Ω
(1R0) resistor connected across
the terminals and one terminal earthed. Common
mode voltage between CT and Fridgewatch 2100 must
not exceed 15 V peak to peak
For motor soft-starters or inverters which provide a
4 to 20 mA signal corresponding to motor current, fit a
suitable 50
Ω
(50R) shunt resistor across Fridgewatch
2100 input and set S64 = -1 x motor line current (not
phase current) corresponding to the 20 mA signal.

110
Wire motor HT thermistor to conditioning relay, pre-
wired to terminals 109 and 110.
Thermistor trips, relay contacts open, on fault
condition. Fridgewatch 2100 displays a trip: event
code E1 High Motor Temperature.
Cut-out (Not
Allocated)

111
112
Cut-out contacts open on fault condition. Fridgewatch
2100 displays a trip: event code E24.
Link terminals 111 and 112 if a cut-out is not to be
used.

114
Wire discharge HT thermistor to conditioning relay, pre-
wired to terminals 113 and 114.
Thermistor trips, relay contacts open, on fault
condition. Fridgewatch 2100 displays a trip: event
code E2 High Discharge Temperature.
Terminal prefix: 1 = compressor 1, the card positioned in the Fridgewatch 2100 enclosure immediately adjacent to the
mounting board; refer to Fig 4. This prefix does not physically appear on the card.
1
If fitted, depends on the application.
2
Relays must be low consumption type, 40 mA maximum, Omron LY2 or similar (RS Components part number 329-799).
3
Diode type 1N4004
MUST
be fitted. Connect as illustrated in Fig 11 to ensure correct polarity.
