LOWER SETTING – UNLOAD COMPRESSOR (MANUAL CONTROL
ONLY)
In common with the
button, the
button has three separate functions.
With the Supervisor Key in the Locked position the
navigation button is
used to scroll through the menu pages.
In any menu page, press the
button to scroll down through the menu.
With the Supervisor Key in the Unlocked position, the
navigation button
has two separate functions
Unload Compressor (Manual Control Only)
With ‘manual’ capacity control mode selected, turn the Supervisor Key to
the Unlocked position and press the
button to unload the slide valves
in a manner very similar to the way the
button loads.
In a multi-compressor application, when the controlled compressor
reaches minimum capacity, a further press of the
button stops that
compressor and transfers control to the previous compressor in the
running order which can then be unloaded as required.
In a master/slave configuration, when the last compressor in the slave
compressor running order reaches minimum capacity, a further press of
the
button stops the slave compressor and transfers control to the
master compressor.
Lower Setting Value
The other function of the
button is to lower the value of a setting.
Having selected the appropriate setting as described in Fig 28 or Fig 29,
and with the Supervisor Keyswitch in the Unlocked position, pressing the
button lowers the integer or decimal place value of the setting.

Supervisor
Keyswitch
Unlocked
This key operated switch is used to permit modification of the Operator
and Configuration Settings, for example, the set point value, and is also
used to change the operating mode, to select pages, to accept/enter
selections once made and, with ‘manual’ start/stop – ‘manual’ capacity
control mode selected, allows the compressor to be loaded and unloaded
manually by the operator.
Turning the Supervisor Keyswitch to the Unlocked position changes the
function of the
and
navigation buttons to raise setting and lower
setting buttons to raise or lower the value on a particular setting; refer to
8.8.7. and 8.8.8. All other buttons retain their original functions with the
Supervisor Keyswitch enabled, i.e. in the Unlocked position. On returning
the Supervisor Key to the Locked position any modified settings are
saved and implemented.
