Checkin the brake discs

Reduced braking efficiency due to worn brake disc(s).

Change the worn brake disc(s) without delay.

Check the thickness of the front and rear brake discs at several places on the

disk to see if it conforms to measurement t).

Wear reduces the thickness of the brake disc around the area used by the

brake linings.

Checking s�oke tension

Warning

Brake discs - wear limit

2.5 mm (0.098 in)

Rear

3.5 mm (0.138 in)

If the brake disc thickness is less than the specified value:

Change the brake disc.

Check the front and rear brake discs for damage, cracking and deformation.

If the brake disc shows signs of damage, cracking, or deformation:

Change the brake disc.

Danger of accidents

Instable handling due to incorrect spoke tension.

Ensure that the spoke tension is correct.

Info

A loose spoke can cause wheel imbalance, which leads to more loose spokes in a short time.

If the spokes are too tight, they can break due to local overload.

Check the spoke tension regularly, especially on a new motorcycle.

Tap each spoke with a screwdriver.

The sound frequency depends on the length and thickness of the spoke.

If there are different sound frequencies in spokes with the same length and

thickness, this indicates different spoke tensions.

You should hear a high note.

If the spoke tension varies:

Correct the spoke tension.

Check the spoke torque.
