HP Vectra XU PC – Setting Up

Installing Accessories

3. Change the control panel as follows:

a. Ease the top of the control panel forward. Remove it from the PC, leaving its cable

attached.

b. Turn the control panel into its deskside position. Insert the plastic tabs into the frame.

Ensure the metal case around the panel is inside the frame. Gently push the control
panel back into place.

4. Install any other accessories before replacing the cover.

Where to Install the Accessories

Disk drives and accessory boards can be installed without moving the power supply. You will
need to move the power supply to install main memory or add an upgrade processor.
