Processor Information
The "Processor", "Computer Speed", and "Coprocessor" fields are for information only and
cannot be changed.
Checking the Memory Total
Check that SETUP has detected the memory, and configured the Memory Size fields
correctly. Check the "TOTAL" memory; if it is wrong, check that you have installed the
memory modules correctly. (Refer to “Installing Accessories” for details.)
Memory Hole Above 1 MB
Use this field for ISA accessory boards with memory mapped between 1 MB and 15.5 MB.
Specify the board's available Linear Frame Buffer (LFB) memory. (Refer to the board's
manual for details.)
Memory Hole Below 1 MB
Use this field for ISA accessory boards with memory mapped below 1 MB. Specify the
board's memory, and its location in main memory between 0C8000 h and 0DFFFF h. (Refer
to the board's manual for details.)
Setting the 15 MB Limit for Extended Memory
Set the
Limited to 15 MB
field to
Y
for application software designed for earlier
processors that cannot work with more than 16 MB total memory.
Enabling Memory Cache
For maximum performance, leave the
Memory Cache
field set to On.
