5. Set the switches to your needs. Then replace the cover before reconnecting the cables
and switching ON the PC.

Switch:
Use this switch to:

PSWRD
Enable or clear (and disable) User and System Administrator
passwords stored in EEPROM:
•
OFF to enable passwords
•
ON to clear passwords.
Switch ON if you need to clear the current passwords.

SECUR
Disable or enable security mode. Security mode prevents changes
to the PC's configuration using the PC's SETUP program:
•
OFF to disable security mode
•
ON to enable security mode.
Switch ON if you don't want anyone to change the PC's
configuration.

CONFG
Retain or clear the configuration stored in EEPROM:
•
OFF to retain configuration
•
ON to clear configuration.
Switch ON if you need to clear the PC's configuration information,
for example if the configuration is corrupted.
