supply while you are removing the accessory from the bag. Handle the
accessory as little as possible and with care.
To install main memory modules:
1. Remove the PC's cover and power supply, as described earlier in this chapter.
2. Memory modules can be installed up to a maximum of 256 MB. They must be installed
in pairs of the same capacity, beginning with bank A, up to bank D.
3. Align the main memory module directly over the socket, with the "cutout" towards the
outside of the PC. Slide the memory module into the socket at 45°.
Firmly
press the
memory module
completely
into the socket.
4. Pivot the memory module to the vertical position.
5. Repeat this procedure for the other memory modules.
6. Install any other accessories before replacing the power supply and cover. Then run
SETUP. (Refer to “Configuring Your PC”.)
