Power Supply
The power of the DS-7000 does not turn ON. The power supply LED does not light.
Cause : The power supply switch of the DS-7000 is not turned ON.
Solution : Turn ON the power supply switch located on the front side of the DS-7000.
In normal condition, the power supply LED will light in green.
Cause : The fuse inside the AC inlet of the DS-7000 has blown.
Solution : Make sure to find out the cause of the blown fuse. It is dangerous to turn on the power
again by just replacing the fuse without resolving the cause. The following causes can
be considered.

Power supply unit failure

Short-circuit of the power supply line inside the main unit
*If definite cause cannot be found, stop using the equipment immediately.
Cause : The power does not turn ON and a quiet electronic sound generates.
Solution : The fail-safe device on the CPU board is functioning, or data error has occurred.
The power turns ON and the display appears, but the system keeps restarting.
Cause : The memory data was destroyed due to excessive noise interference.
Solution : Set the rotary switch inside the maintenance cover to initial setting (F), and turn ON
the power again. After the program starts, turn the rotary switch back to “0”. If this
does not resolve the problem, faulty CPU board can be considered.
The “DS-7000 Hardware Error” message is displayed.
Cause : Proper voltage is not supplied to the internal circuit.
Solution : Check the item judged as NG on the maintenance menu. The DS-7000 hardware
error items are as follows.

as the range, it may be judged as NG at high
temperature environment. This will not be a problem if
the room temperature is within the specified range.
“Hardware Error” will not be displayed even if this item is
judged as NG.

setting such as the clocks might not be able to be backed
up.
