Switch

Install the battery, turn ON/OFF,
OFF/ON the power supply switch and
verify the charging operation.
The charge indicator should
light showing the charging
condition.

After charging the battery, disconnect
the power cable and verify it operates
with the battery correctly.
Should show the battery
operating condition as stated
in the operation manual.
04 Fuse
Take out the fuse from the fuse
holder, and visually check the model
type and current capacity.
The specified fuse must be
used.

Check the battery replacement date.
The battery must be
periodically replaced as stated
in the operation manual.
Should not show any
malfunction such as short
operating time in spite of a
fully charged battery.

3. Display, Control, Record
01 Label
Visually check the label, caution label,
etc.
Should be clean, clear and
firmly attached.
02 Control Switch, Key Check the control switch/key
operation.
Should operate properly.
03 LCD
Check that the home display appears
on the LCD.
The characters and
waveforms should be clearly
displayed. The brightness
should be sufficient.
04 Alarm Indicator
Check that the alarm indicator lights
when the power is turned ON.
All segments should light
sequentially.
05 Alarm
Tone,
Control Tone
On the tone setup menu, perform the
alarm tone test.
The tone should generate in
an appropriate volume. There
should be no fluttering sound.
06 Date/Time
Verify the displayed date/time.
The displayed date/time
should be correct.
07 Recording
Perform a test printing from the
maintenance menu. Visually check the
printing condition for uneven print
density, skipping of dot, etc.
The printing should be clear.
08 Recording Speed
Perform a test printing from the
maintenance menu.
Measure the printed grid length.
The error should be within
±
5% for the sweep speed of
25mm/sec.
09 Remote Control
Verify that when the remote control is
used, the screen changes.
The display should change.
10 Telemetry
Transmitter
Transmit the data by telemetry
transmitter, and check the receiving
condition, waveform, etc.
The telemetry receiving
condition should be stable
and correct data should be
displayed.
