5-4 Setting Method and Effective Bits of Individual Register
There are two methods for passing data between the positioning control module and the CPU module:
1) Write data from the CPU module into the positioning control module
(Speed data, position data, pulse input method, etc.)
2) Read data from the positioning control module into the CPU module
(Current frequency data, maximum frequency data, etc.)
1) When setting by above method 1):
Set the register number in which data is to be written in the write register.
NP1F-MP1 ...Address No. 11, bit 0 to bit 4 (refer to page 5-30)
NP1F-MP2 ...Address No. 15, bit 0 to bit 4 (refer to page 5-79)
Address No. 19, bit 0 to bit 4 (refer to page 5-95)
* MP1 is for one axis; MP2, for 2 axes.
2) When reading by above method 2):
Set the register number from which data is to be read in the read register.
NP1F-MP1 ...Address No. 11, bit 8 to bit C (refer to page 5-32)
NP1F-MP2 ...Address No. 15, bit 8 to bit C (refer to page 5-81)
Address No. 19, bit 8 to bit C (refer to page 5-97)
3) When the register number for writing is set, set the data to be written in the set value area. Address number for set
value data is as follows:
NP1F-MP1 ...Address Nos. 12 and 13 (refer to page 5-34)
NP1F-MP2 ...Address Nos. 16 and 17 (refer to page 5-82)
Address Nos. 20 and 21 (refer to page 5-98)
4) When the register number for writing/reading and the set value data are set, turn the following bit ON. (Be careful
that the bit No. differs between writing and reading.)
NP1F-MP1 ...Address No. 11, bit 7 or bit F (refer to pages 5-30 and 5-32)
NP1F-MP2 ...Address No. 15, bit 7 or bit F (refer to pages 5-71 and 5-81)
Address No. 19, bit 7 or bit F (refer to pages 5-95 and 5-97)
