7-3 Functions of Pulse Generation Mode
7-3-14 Interrupt point positioning motion
• When the interrupt signal is detected, this function outputs the specified number of command pulses.
• The motion to position at the interrupt starts when the interrupt positioning signal becomes “1.”
• During interrupt positioning, the command pulse register is not counted down until the first interrupt signal is
detected after the detect command has become “1.”
• After the interrupt signal is detected, the number of pulses which is set in the command pulse register are output.

Points of use:
· If only shift length is specified for positioning at interrupt by the servo system, displacement may occur
depending on the deviation amount of the deviation counter on the servo amplifier side.
Referencing the deviation amount when phase-Z was detected from this module (NP1F-MP1/MP2), execute
original point return from the CPU module according to the procedure shown below:
1) Set the number of pulses which is half of the moving length in the command pulse register and then start this
function.
2) When the interrupt signal is detected, add the following value to the command pulse register.
The value to be added = (Set value of shift length)/2 - (Deviation amount)
3) When the deviation amount is greater than 1/2 of the set value of the shift length, even if the value to be
added is set to “0,” an overrun occurs, passing the target position when stopped.
(In such cases, set moving speed to “Low.”)
