7-4 Functions of the Position Command Mode
• Set value of delay time
For delay time, set the following value:
Delay time

Delay time: by the 0.1ms
SX bus transmission times: The number of transmission operations tried when a transmission error has
occurred consecutively (normally “1” is set)
+3.0ms: The delay time until the first pulse is output after this module has detected the completion of
transmission from the SX bus
• The maximum value for delay time is 255 (=25.5ms).
Delay time is also limited by takt time:

• When the pulse increment for unit time exceeds the limiter value, the number of pulses for the limiter value are
output. In this case, the difference from the pulse increment is added to the pulse increment of the next cycle.
Limiter value is processed as the upper-limit for the pulse increment per millisecond.
Namely, it is 1,000 pulses (equivalent to 1MHz) or the set value of the high-speed limiter register (whichever is
smaller).

• In the position command mode, the following signals of the control register are automatically set/reset:
Automatic acceleration/deceleration disable bit
: 1 (disable)
Automatic deceleration point calculation disable bit : 1 (disable)
Frequency resolution select
: 0 (16 bits)
• When one of the following bit command signals becomes “1,” the start signal for module processing is cleared to
“0,” immediately stopping the output of pulses.
Deceleration-and-stop command
Quick stop command
Command pulse register reset
(In the position command mode, because automatic acceleration/deceleration is disabled, pulse output is
immediately stopped.)
