Displaying the Temperature
By default, the Foundry device polls the temperature sensor on each module every 60 seconds to get the
temperature of each module.
• Starting with release 03.0.00, the Foundry device records the highest temperature reading of the modules in
each thermal plane.
• In releases prior to 0.3.0.00, the Foundry device calculates the average temperature of the modules in each
thermal plane.
The show chassis command displays the temperature reading of each thermal plane, as shown in the following
examples.
This following shows an example output on the FSX.
The following shows an example output on the FSX 800. The output is similar on the FSX 1600.

Displaying Fan Status and Speed
The show chassis command displays the status and speed of the fans in the Foundry chassis. The following
shows an example output from release 03.0.00, which supports four fan speeds. Releases prior to 03.0.00
support five fan speeds.
