Remove and Inspect the B-Series Valves

For this procedure, see Figure 21.

1. Use a 9/16 inch nut driver or wrench to remove the nut



that holds the

B-series valve coil.

2. Remove the coil



and coil washer



from the valve. Note that the

rubber on the washer makes contact with the bottom of the coil when

reassembled.

3. Use a large flat-head screwdriver to remove the valve shaft and valve

body



4. Inspect the seal



for contamination or excessive wear.

5. Inspect the O-ring



, and base orifice



. If any parts are damaged,

remove the base



with a #2 Phillips screwdriver and replace the entire

valve. The entire valve can be ordered from Fluke Calibration.
