System Boot 

If the system only partially boots up the screen on the left is shown. Check that 

the PCM is properly installed. The screen on the right indicates that the system 

has loaded and the application starts.

Software Upgrades 

To upgrade the software for the mainframe and interface: 
1.  Go to the Fluke Calibration website and download the latest 6270A firmware.  
2.  Connect a PC directly to the rear panel USB port. 

Note 

When the Product is connected to a PC with the USB connection, 
the Product appears as a flash drive, usually assigned to the E: 
drive. The drive letter varies depending upon the PC setup. 

3.  Copy the file: 

script6270

 and either/both 

6270A_main

 or 

6270A_gui

 to 

the flash drive.  

4.  Wait 30 seconds. 
5.  Turn off and then turn on the Product. 
The firmware upgrades at system bootup. 
To upgrade the software for the PCM: 
1.  From the Fluke Calibration website, download the latest PCM software to 

your PC and rename it 

6270A_pcm.img

. 

2.  Connect a PC directly to the rear panel USB port. 
3. Copy 

6270A_pcm.img

 and 

Script6270

 to the E: drive.  

4.  Wait 30 seconds. 
5.  Turn off and then turn on the Product. 
6.  The process is complete when the
